The weather was so hot because it is still summer in the Philippines. We decided to take a walk in the neighboring town to witness the beautiful tourist spot . A lighthouse in the northern part of Cebu. The lighthouse was located in Bagacay, Brgy. Catarman Liloan Cebu. It was established in 1857 but the current structure was built in 1904 by the American colonial government. The purpose of the lighthouse was to guide the fishermen, ships and navigators through the Mactan channel.
The lighthouse is also famous for its panoramic view of the sea. Liloan was called “The Light of the North” because the lighthouse serves as guide to all mariners going to the northern part of CEBU.
They have a solar panel to supply electricity for the lighthouse at night.
Lighthouse is [PAROLA ]in Bisaya the local dialect in Cebu.
We walked around the lighthouse but we were also careful because so many children were playing in front of it.
The view of the ocean is very beautiful from where we are standing. The wind blows chilly. Then we decided to fly our drone to get perfect shots.
We enjoyed our walked around the lighthouse. That’s all for today’s vlog my beloved Hiver’s and hope to see you on my next Vlog. Have a nice Wednesday to all of you.
