A flower in bloom can erase sadness from anyone's heart. It's like a pill that can take pain away just by looking at it. Admit it or not, but we smile whenever we see a flower in full bloom without noticing it. It's like a flower is silently healing us with their beauty and smell. Is it the same for you? Did you see flowers like that too?
Hey guys! Happy new month! It's the weekend. I hope y'all are having fun right now, or maybe having your rest day? As for me, I'm just at home all day. As I've said in my previous article, it's just me and Mommy at home. And yeah, we are taking care of Mommy D's mini store right now. And because it is us who's taking care of it, look how messy it is in here right now. The store is almost empty now. It's my mommy D who bought the items that were needed here in the store, but she's not here right now. So, this will be filled again once she goes home (≧▽≦).
Anyway, I went outside this afternoon to run some errands, and I asked Mama to come with me because I couldn't go on without her, lol. We didn't stay long outside, though, but the time spent outside is really fun. I had a talk with Mama while we were on our walk to get there. We also talk about the problem of my brother with my niece, she has an eye problem now, maybe because of too mach use of gadgets. We also talk about our old couple neighbors who had fought again. She can hear them because their house is just a few steps away from each other. We really talk a lot, I tell you, and we sometimes talk using Messenger even though we are just neighbors. Well, that's just how we bond, lol.
And of course, while outside, I take that time to capture some moments and flowers too. I'm glad that even though it's hot, it's still windy. So walking in hot weather is no problemo. But, yes, there's a but, lol. Because it's windy, taking a picture of this flower is really hard because it moves around so much that it becomes blurry. I mean, my phone's camera is already one of the lowest, and it'll go down more because of it. Aigoo, it's really just But either way, I'm still glad.
Here's another eye candy, this was in front of a private elementary school. Pretty, isn't it? Even though it really has a small space, they were still able to design it. It's still better if we have different plants for the kids to see in school. They will feel more at ease inside with its homey vibe. I couldn't take a photo of it inside because, of course, there's no school day for them today, and I am sure no one can just enter inside. And there's no need to go inside anyway, because just this is enough for me already. I just admired it a little more, then proceeded to walk out.
Here's a pretty view on our way. It's really hot, but no problemo because we have a cap. And you know what's making this perfect? It's those trees that give more life to this image. I really love those tall trees, I really have a thing for them. It's natural beauty is just pleasing to the eyes. This is the reason why I always say that I love different kinds of trees in my own home if I ever decide to build one. And I'll call it "Into the Wood." Is that a weird name? Lol. It's just literally what it says, lol. The only problem I can see being surrounded by lots of trees is when it floods and they all fall into my house. I might die, if ever. Hmmm, but that's what I want, so I'll leave it like that.
So, Mama has to buy food for Jose (her pet, the chicken), so we take a detour. That's her walking like a model, lol. I, on the other hand, stay in this spot where there's no sun light. Just seeing the sunlight is enough to make me sweat. We also saw this thrift shop on the way. They are like winter clothes and jackets. They look okay to me, but I want a modern type of jacket, like one with a hood. How about you?
And also this, look at the tall fence here. I am really sad that we can't take this shortcut anymore because of this. This was not this empty before, but I think the owner has a plan for this lot, which is why they demolished those buildings that were built here before. And you see, after emptying this lot, some indigenous groups (the Mangyan people) started to flock here. Maybe the owner doesn't want that, and that's why they closed it. No more shortcuts for us.
This is what it looked like before, but now it looks so empty and sad. Bye-bye flowers and trees, and even those pretty plants, aigooo.
Let's move on. I'm hungry because of our short walk, or more so because of the heat. So when I saw this street food vendor on the side, we went there and picked up these yummy street foods we love. We have shanghai (long), which has pork flavor, we have a vegetable spring roll (short), which has mixed veggies inside. Then I also had kwek-kwek, which is coated in a batter made with flour and egg, I think, and they use quail egg, which is why it is small. I just got spicy vinegar to dip those foods.
Overall, this walk is surprisingly good. I had a lot of fun, especially having a lot of laughs because we're both laughing while talking a while ago. It's really easy to laugh, you know, if only you will open your heart to positivity and only think about happiness. Can you also do that? Do it for yourself and not for everyone, just yourself.
