Today's #wednesdaywalk share, as inspired by . What did it include? A lot of snow and wind...and lots of white to photograph. Thank goodness for the occasional barn or two!
Cold and windy...that was today for us as it was for most of the northern US folks today. Schools in the area were canceled, as were a few businesses. Not for me though....oh no...work must stay open and money must be made!
Yet all wasn't bad, as I snuck in a lunchtime walk while traversing the blister Wisconsin backroads and highways to get from one company to the next. I knew I had to stop to see how my favorite, old, abandoned barn was doing...
That barn is always fun to visit, no matter what the weather. As I walked the road to see the other side of it, I had to take in the scenes around me.
For fun, I even found another barn to photograph. Nothing to me says winter like viewing a red barn contrasted against the dull, white atmosphere around it. I know spring has been hinting at a comeback the past few weeks, but today was definitely nature's reminder that we're not quite there yet.
I mean, even the hay bales have a charm (sort of!).
I know it's been a bit since I've share a walk. Life has been a lot of late, but today was another reminder that it's not all bad...at least not all of the time. The ability to get outside with my simple camera and lens does make me grateful for all that I have.
Anyway, enough of the bore fest! I hope everyone had a wonderful #wednesdaywalk too.
