Wednesday Walking to the La Crosse River

For this week's #wednesdaywalk, as hosted by Hive account@tattoodjay , I went for quick walk to the local river. Why? Well, this area has been under quite a drought for a number of weeks now. I want to say the last heavy rainfall we received was back in August. With that said, I wanted to check out the local river.

Despite the drought, there is plenty of green yet in the area. The river itself is quite low, as you can see from the photos above. The weeds are still kicking, however; everyone loves those thorns when walking around in the marsh.

Sorry to keep this one short again, but wow it's been a day. Too many meetings, too little actual work completed, and though it's only Wednesday, I'm feeling it. I'm hoping everyone had a wonderful #wednesdaywalk too!
