Hello everyone.
Yesterday was time for a new #WednesdayWalk challenge as I visited the spring of the river Klokot. It is small river with its spring under mountain Plješavica near border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
Lovely place to spend some time, enjoy and take a walk along the river while listening relaxing sound of the water.
Water is used as drinking water for nearby city and that is the reason its spring is protected and there are no buildings nearby. There is a fish farm close to the spring.
In the back of the photo you can see mountain Plješavica. It is natural border between Bosnia Herzegovina and Croatia.
Spring of river Klokot is under the mountain.
And here we are.
There is a small bridge to cross to other side of the river. Nothing wrong in stoping on the bridge and enjoy the view.
It has lovely green color.
It is tributary river of river Una and if you once saw river Una you notice that color is similar. After 4.5 kilometers from its spring river Klokot meets river Una.
If you continue your walk on the other side of the river you reach fish farm and quite close to the spring.
The spring of the river is in the back. On the left side is fish farm and on the right is water protected zone with drinking water system that takes water to the city.
Not only that lovely river Klokot makes walk relaxing but sound of the flowing water is there too to follow you around.
Plenty of ducks and several herons look for the food.
That particular rock in the water seems like popular place for the birds.
You can get close to the water.
At this time of the year there is more water and river is more beautiful.
You can sit hear and enjoy the river Klokot melody.
When ever you visit here you can see ducks, herons and some other birds.
This was last stop at the river as we drink our coffee and finished our visit here.
Always lovely place to visit.
Super place for a #WednesdayWalk.
