If you want peace, connect with nature! It will really give you the peace that you looking for!
Greetings to all Hivers! Happy new year to all of us! Most especially in this wonderful community! I'm back again to share another beautiful and peaceful walk together with my baby!
This morning, my baby and I have nothing to do because we were the only ones left at home. My husband and our other children go to the neighboring sitio to attend a house blessing, but we decided not to join them since my youngest child wasn’t feeling very well. I thought it would be better for us to stay at home and take things slowly. Because the weather was quite pleasant and the sunshine is not yet hot, I decided that a short walk might help us relax and feel a bit better. So I carry my baby and went out for a walk.
While we were still deciding where to go, our aunt who lives uphill sent us a message that makes me smile. She told us that they were having a small gathering or occasion at their place and invited us to come, and suddenly we found our way. Lol! Their house is located at the top of the mountain, while we live down below, so the path going there is quite steep and tiring. Still, since the weather was clear and cool, we decided to go ahead to join and visit them.
As we walked, I couldn’t help but admire the beautiful view and surroundings, so I took some photos of the scenery around our area. We are surrounded by mountains and gardens because our place is located at a higher elevation, the view is truly breathtaking. From where we stood, you can clearly see the beauty of the land below, the gardens and the neighboring mountains. The air is naturally cold and refreshing, but once the sun comes out, it can suddenly become very hot. Despite that, the view is very relaxing and calm something that almost anyone would appreciate. Although, to be honest, when it rains continuously, the gloomy weather can also become tiring and boring after a while.
We stayed at our aunt’s place for a few hours and unite with our relatives. After sharing a meal together, we decided it was time to head back home. We were joined by our grandmother, who had arrived there earlier than us to the venue. Walking back together felt comforting and peaceful.
That’s pretty much how our simple walk turned into a meaningful and relaxing little adventure for my baby and me. We really took advantage of the good weather and enjoyed being outdoors while it lasted, because at any moment, the rain could come again nonstop. It was a simple yet memorable experience that reminded me how refreshing it is to slow down and enjoy nature, even on an ordinary day.
Thank you so much for taking time to read my simple Wednesday walk blog, I really appreciate your time and support! See you on my next blog! Always remember to keep smiling and stay safe!
Mabuhay!
