The flowering trees start to blossom.
Reds, pinks, lilac, purple, whites... it is quite pleasing.
I appreciate how the cities and towns have landscaped open areas. The center divides and streets are lined with all sorts of trees, and some are flowering trees.
Flowering trees are beautiful, and these flowers may turn into fruit at the end of the season.
Flowering ornamental and fruiting trees attract birds, butterflies, and bees. Birds nest in mature trees, and eat the insects that would otherwise eat the leaves and the flowers.
Oh, and it reduces levels of carbon dioxide in the air! Trees take carbon dioxide from the air and add oxygen to the air.
Trees prevent storm runoff, as one danger of torrential rains and floods is that soil can be washed away. The roots of trees and plants keep the soil stable.

A flowering fruit tree or an ornamental tree planted in the right place can provide shade and keep it cooler in the summer.

A flowering tree is aesthetically pleasing and can even raise the homeβs resale value.
