We have very few street arts in our town. So when I "discover" one, I am all excited! It may have been there for years, but I have become aware of it only now.
Technically, this is not street art, which is defined as artwork that is created in a public space, typically without official permission or commission. It is a mural, that is found in one of the schools located in the middle of residential homes!
There are so many elements to this mural. There is a boy in native American attire. The collar around the neck and the headdress are quite interesting! A bird is flying above his head. There is another set of attire and a headdress that is a bit different from what the boy is wearing.
A man is scaling the hill towards a tree. He is wearing the same headdress as the boy. Another figure is standing by a haystack— perhaps a dwelling. It that a bird in the tree?
These people have a different headdress, similar to the headdress at the back of the boy in the first photo. I guess these are women??? They too are scaling a hill! I think one is holding a jar, and the other is holding a tool of some sort. I don't know... I am just guessing. Give me a break! Hahaha!
There is a large print of a hand. Inside it there are hundreds of hand prints!
And this is how it looks in total! Cool!!!
