Here is what winter does to Chicago for this #wednesdaywalk by
Now that we have shorter days in the northern hemisphere my commute into the city is quite dark.
Here is the CME building where all sorts of crypto and stock scams are taking place lol. It looks quite ominous in the dark.
But as you walk under it the bright luciferian light from inside makes the city a bit brighter lol. These fake pebble stones are quite popular during lunch break.
The opera house is quite ominous and brutal looking.
The entrance also makes you feel small with giant columns and endless perspectives. Sadly now the opera house is making trashy modern operas instead of the classic old operas to appeal to strange city folk more.
Here is my walk to the train in the evening.
It looks almost as dark as my walk to work in the morning. Shorts wearing man is quite brave as it is quite cold out already. Maybe he's doing some cold training or just didn't do laundry.
This is a morning shot of a boat coming in off of Lake Michigan. Maybe they were doing some night fishing.
Here is an evening shot of the Wendella tour boat doing the Architectural tour. I much prefer their skyline tour that takes you out on Lake Michigan vs boating through the city.
Here is another evening shot off one of the bridges.
This little guy caught my eye. The spiders really love to cover everything during fall and this landscape lighting near a planter makes a great spot for a spider's trap.
Now its time to rush to the train station. Gotta squeeze into all these lines of people to get into the train station.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
