I'm in the Pacific Northwest for this #wednesdaywalk by
I'm staying in Mukilteo for a project install and there are some nice areas to explore after a 13 hour work day.
This time I visited a little park next to Puget Sound. The lighthouse still works but it is more of a historic museum for tourists like me.
I'm liking the topography here, later I'm going to explore some trails up in the hills.
For now I just managed to get here in time for the sunset.
I love how the light makes drastic silhouettes.
Here's Hat Island off in the distance. There are quite a few ferries that go to all the islands in this area.
If you look closely in the water there is a seal swimming around. They are somewhat tame and swim around underneath the docks. I wish I had packed my zoom lens.
Now its almost time for dinner and sleep to get ready for another day of work.
Seafood restaurants are all over the place here. I'll have to see what's on the menu.
Some fish decorations.
A killer whale design in the concrete.
A representation of a trout maybe a steelhead?
That's all for now, hopefully I can fibd some material for #fungifriday while I'm up here.
