Here are some typical views from my work days in Chicago for this #wednesdaywalk by
The transition from winter to spring brings tons of fog. Then you add spring forward timing and you find yourself at the train station in fog at 5am. At least the lights of the train look cool searching around in the fog.
Nice and gloomy when I arrived downtown too.
Time to head to work and finish some deadlines early in the morning.
Now I have to head to a client meeting in another building. Fortunately I don't have to sit through this day long workshop these other guys were having.
I would be staring out the window daydreaming about being in the forests of Wisconsin during that workshop lol.
It is still dark and gloomy on my way back to the office. I'll try and get a shot of this building on a day where blue sky and a couple clouds are reflecting off the glass.
A quick distraction on my way back to the office. This is a little arch alcove embedded in the side of Union Station.
I went in to see how crowded Union Station was. Its only mildly crowded, better than it was during the pandemic where it was completely abandoned.
Older buildings in Chicago are pretty fun to explore as they took much more time designing every aspect of them. They put alot of ornamentation into this little side stairwell. I could probably do a whole post on just this building. Anyway gotta get back to work...
Thanks for looking :-)
