Didn't get much time to walk around for this #wednesdaywalk by
But we did manage to walk around a few crab apple trees while trying to get fall leaf pictures of our daughter.
These tiny yellow crabappled looked great against the cold windy blue sky.
Here are some tiny red and yellow ones. So far the prior yellow ones tasted good but these guys were too bitter and left my mouth with a fuzzy sensation.
These plum sized apples were all off the tree.
I gave one a taste test and it tasted like a normal apple. Too small for sale in the stores I guess.
These bright red ones were really bitter and sour.
These darker red ones had bad tasting skin but the inside was quite sweet. I can imagine they would make a decent cider.
We failed at taking any good fall family pictures as it was cold and windy. In this picture a branch fell down off in the distance right as my wife took the picture. Looks like we'll have to do normal inside pictures to send out to relatives lol. The falling branch seemed to impress my daughter at least she smiled in this one. Probably need to hire a hyperactive photographer to psych the kid up into smiling.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
