Every time I made a trop to my Delhi home, I always get some surprise. This time around its not mut much different. I must confess that things changed pretty rapidly in big cities than in village. There is always something that makes the cities develop pretty fast. I was welcomed to the city with light drizzle which made the atmosphere pretty pleasant. I used to hate the dust and pollution of Delhi, but thanks to the overnight rain everything blossomed up nicely.
We had a new neighbours in the flat asjacent to our flat and they have decked up the staircase with some nice flower pots. The colorful pots and vibrant flower made up a nice morning. I went out for a little walk around my apartment. The apartment is all decorated with saffron color, all due to the recently concluded Ram Navami festival. I went to the park to meet some of the my opd fellow, only find the park took a well needed renovation.
The trees grown up nicely, whereas the park too take a makeover. What used to be an empty ground, now have differrnt segment catering the need of all the residents memever. The begining of the park have a designated spot for open gym. There were many machine and equipments that were necessary for health upkeep. The gym is free for all and anyone can use it at their comfort. Such steps by the local authority helps for a healthier tomorrow.
From bench press to body pull ups. Even providing free of cost the place was quite empty. There are no takers of this free facility. Whereas there are many people who are ready to pay heavy fee to join some renowned gym in the city. The authority alwys take step for welfare of the residents but no body is ready to avail such a good facility.
Finding the segment empty, I koved towards the other part of the park. The park too has changed and it was allocated for the children. There were many rides and playing swing to the keep the kids entertain. Even that segment too is empty. But the colorful equipments reminded me of my childhood. When we lack such facility.
The other section was dedicated for some official meeting or some festival celebrstion. It was an empty piece of land where kids use to play some game of cricket as and when required.
The park is well covered with many trees that keeps the environment clean. Kids enjoy a lot in this park , but I am yet to find one. The park has changed a lot over the years. As I said it used to be an empty piece but now, there were many facilities added in last few years. Adding more meaning to the park.
