This morning my wife and i went for a walk in " De Bruuk " near the German border.
Last year we went there during the Autumn season and llast night someone told me that the wild orchids were flowering, so with the sun and clouds in the sky we went to find the wild orchids.
I've split the created photos in two 48 photos in one post is a bit much even for me :)
For a moment we thought we would be soaking wet, but luckely the bad weather stayed in Germany .
The fields are filled with buttercups and orchids.
no worry there will be better pictures of the orchids later on 😉
Slug moving arround in the cow parsley
and going down again
At least the sky is clearing up a bit more and everything is still covered in fresh young green lleafs
The grass already starts to flower
And from the look of it eggs starting to hatch.
I think i need to come back here again to make a timelapse of the clouds one day.
Don't make the mistake on walking on the grass the path we wallk on is higher then the fields with grass .
I'm almost certain that you will end up with wet pants and shoes.
there are all kinds of wild flowers growing left and right, just not easy to gett close to them with oout getting wet .
The yellow iris is a good proof of how wet it is .
I was hoping to see some dragonflies , but it's still to early for that.
And the skies are showing more blue and less clouds
Sitting on the bench listening to the concert the birds give
And then i spotted this yellow flower , it looks like a nettle sort
it kind of looks like a bird beak , it's the Rhinanthus angustifolius , the greater yellow-rattle .
one dramatic view of a dead tree
More sunshine on the fields
and look like i promissed the wild orchid it's the Dactylorhiza maculata / Gevlekte Orchis / Spotted Orchid ?
and here you see it's leafs , probably where it got it's name from.
The sky doesn't dissapoint us woth the blue and white
here you can see the flowering Hottonia palustris / water violet / Waterviolier
these pink flowers where to far away to identify for me.
and finally one more shot of the Orchid.
