We've visited a new park in our city that was built some weeks ago. It's still not finished but it's open already, and all visitirs can enjoy it.
A great fountain meets all guests at the entry.

Early it was just a desert place near the sea with wild nature around, some kind of a tiny forest where people liked to have picnics. Now it's a place both for picnics and walks with kids. There are many benches, tables, places for shashlik (meat fried on the open fire - the classical dish for all spring and summer holidays in Russia), and there many places for kids' and adults' sport and walks.
The park is made in the ancient Greek style with connection to legends and myths with their popular characters and scenes.
I think later when the park is finished completely it will be much better, but for now it's already great to have nice rest.
There's only one minus - it's rather far from my house, but it won't stop me if I wanna visit it;)
