Greetings, friends! I have chosen for my walk a park that is spread around several lakes. The scenery of this park is especially beautiful in autumn. There is a stable near the border of the park, and during your walk you can meet horses and even treat them to something tasty (if you were thoughtful and brought a carrot or an apple).
Apart from that, you can arrange a horseback ride at the stables. But for some reason I've never done it. Perhaps it's something in the realm of limiting beliefs? Or is it the banal laziness of my brain, which doesn't want to push the usual boundaries and add new ways of physical activity to the familiar ones. Trips to the stables are very far from my usual way of life, and I usually only admire the horses.
As a child, I loved to ride horses. We used to ride when we came to visit our grandmother, who liked to spend the summer months in the countryside. She didn't like dachas in the nearest suburbs, she always chose the rural hinterland where life flowed leisurely and change was slow. There we rode ordinary work horses. The shepherd who tended the herd would let us ride on humble horses with a kind character.
I walked in a park called Meadow Park. This name very accurately conveys the character of the landscape, the territory of the park is small groves and meadows on the banks of lakes. When horses graze on these green meadows, the landscape acquires a perfect harmony.
On the shore of one of the lakes you can see the ruins of a pavilion. This pavilion is called the Pink Pavilion, and once its walls were really pink in colour, if you believe the old drawings. It was a house with a terrace and a rather high tower, from the platform of the tower you could get a beautiful view of the neighbourhood. The fate of this building was not favourable, only the foundations and part of the walls of the lower storey have survived.
Near the Pink Pavilion I met horses again, and this time they came close to the paths of the park, so I could admire these graceful animals at close range. Here I also met riders who were doing the same walk around the lakes as I was, only I was walking and they were riding.
