Wednesday Walk in or near Padnaram Village

Even though I have been getting my step in each day, averaging close to 10K steps a day, I have not been out for any photo walks so sharing a walk from earlier in the year
The morning I took these I had parked by a boat pier I visit often and walked across the bridge into Padanaram village, Dartmouth MA
There is this cool building at the end of the bridge, I'm not sure what it is used for

Padanaram has an interesting history
The village of Padanaram was one of many settlements that began cropping up within the town of Old Dartmouth after its purchase from the Wampanoag by members of the Plymouth Colony in 1652. During King Philip's War, English colonists residing in the area took shelter at Russell Garrison.
In the mid-18th century, it became a shipbuilding center. In September 1778, during the American Revolution, British raiding parties attacked nearby New Bedford as part of Grey's raid with a small force attacking Padanaram. The village was then known as Akin’s Landing, and following Elihu Akin driving three Loyalists out of the village in September 1778, British raiders burnt down most of the village, focusing on Akin’s properties. The raiding parties targeted Akin specifically because he had expelled the Loyalists from Dartmouth. After the raid, Akin moved to his only remaining property, a small home on Potters Hill - the Elihu Akin House. Elihu never financially recovered from the raid and died poor; he lived at the house until his death in 1794. Fixing the damage to the town from the raid cost £105,960 in 1778, which is roughly equivalent to nine million dollars in today's money. In honor of Elihu, and to commemorate his earlier shipbuilding, the village of Padanaram was called Akin’s Wharf for 20 years after the war. The town prospered as a minor whaling port and was home to a large salt works during the 19th century. As these industries died out, "the village" (as it is referred to by locals) became mostly a residential area with several yachting businesses, galleries, eateries, and shops.
Another cool building on the other side of the road, housing an ice cream shot, I haven't tried the ice cream from there as I have only visited this area early morning

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
