Helloooo There Hivers!
It's Wednesday and this week I said to myself It's time! I haven't done one of these in a while! So off we go on a walking journey down the street!
When I say we I mean me and ! Hi there hun ๐
To start this one of "Here's a leaf for everyone" Laughs Laughs
Okay jokes aside I chose this one as the entry to the post and also the cover photo, mainly because I have a weird fascination for leaves. I don't know what it is but whenever the wind blows, especially in stormy winds I would just sit and gaze at the leaves rustling around. Thinking of that now I wonder when we will have some proper rain, it feels like it should have fallen by now.

The Witches Tree
Soooo this beautifully ugly tree sometimes gives me that eerie swampy feeling, almost as if these would be covering a witches hut in the forest. Because of the wide spread branches and the low hanging flowers on it. As ugly as it is from a distance they are somewhat beautiful closer up, especially the green mixed in with the red flower heads on it.
It reminds me of an environment in the game called The Witcher 3
Perhaps I should revisit that game sometime I genuinely enjoyed it! Okay I'm straying from the Wednesday walk xD
Just a little bit closer up. Notice the long hanging branches. I bet these look real scary in stormy weathers.

The Black Rose
Yeah I might be a little bit wrong It's not a rose. But it is black and it does give a rose like feeling.
I have to admit I have a fancy for dark and eerie colors and even more so when they come out in nature. It's not everyday that you see a black or very darkish red cacti (It is actually just a very dark shade of red.) A while back I saw a photo of an actual black rose and I googled if it is something that can happen, turns out it can and it has something to do with the soil it grows in.
But as for this dark cacti I have no clue why it's really so dark. Perhaps the amount of sunlight it's getting?
(If anyone does actually know, feel free to share)

The Rusted Bus Stop Sign
In my previous Wednesday Walk post I also had a bus stop sign included. Believe it or not this is not the same bus stop sign as the one in the previous post. Now what I can't wrap my head around is the fact that this street has two bus stop signs, but why?
Okay one can argue that if the street is long enough more than one point can be added, but this is hardly a long street and they aren't even placed far out of each other? I suppose I'll never know!
"Wait why does that even bother me?"
"Atleast on this one you can actually read the bus sign."

The Remaining Roots
Another one of these chopped up trees. Well to whoever cut it off I surely hope that person did a little effort of planting another tree somewhere else on this planet.
Writing this I realize that I myself has never even planted a tree of any sort. Wow I feel a little ashamed now. I think I'll have a sit down with the lady so that we can devise a plan to get some trees in the ground. Perhaps one every six months at minimum.
I can even plant them here on the farm, I mean we have all the space we could ever want and we can do that without disturbing anyone's peace, after all no one can bash us for digging holes on private property (Even if it is for the good of the planet.)
There's a quote saying.
"Blessed are those who plant trees under whose shade they will never sit."
And boy does that give goosebumps!
It's clear to me that this was one stubborn tree and gave the tree cutter a very frikkin hard time to cut it off. I almost want to say it didn't fall without a fight! And a fight it gave!
The remaining stump looks a lot smaller in the photo but believe me when I say this must have been one hell of a tree. It really has a large diameter, or had.
Sap leaking out of another tree? Do they in fact have some sort of life within them? I know it's probably a silly thing to say and I do know if there is life in them It's certainly not the same life as what we humans and animals have.
But it does still need water and nutrients to survive much like humans and animals? See It's almost as if it is bleeding?
"I really wish I could stop overthinking crap๐"

Wrapping the day up
After a long day at work which was extremely humid and hot (Which went by fast come to think of it now.)
Cleaned myself up nicely grabbed something refreshing to drink and enjoyed my little walk with the Betty, we even saw the sun setting behind a gap in the houses! I think that topped off the day very nicely!.
Me and the Betty made some dinner and enjoyed a movie. (We started watching The Chronicles of Narnia again, haven't seen those movies in ages and I have to admit I can't wait to watch the next one of the three part saga.)
Anyways people! Stay safe! Stay Blessed! And have a good one.

To everyone who made it this far into my post Thank you for the read and the support.
