Hello Hello Hivers, Hivians and any other wonderful being who has stumbled onto this!
So today we are having a walk which started off by showcasing one of the biggest conversation topics in the UK. And that is of course the weather.
I had to run some errands, by errands I mean messages and by messages I mean do some shopping. I got outside and saw the gorgeous blue sky. We had a bit of sun again.
So off I went and then the clouds I saw, they was gorgeous white and grey clouds and I turned around because that's what Jay tells us to do.
Look up and around you
tells us ... So I did.
I saw the yellow sun trying to peak out!
As I turned over the football ground the white clouds became smaller.
Looking towards a stand that houses the away fans the clouds were almost gone.
And then yes! It was all blue sky, what winter meh weather!
That was me doing my little bit of look up for Wednesday walk.
So like I say we were going to get some groceries.
First of all we passed the old Mill which has the Tteal burn running behind it.
So the levels of water are back to normal. Not that we had that much rain compared to what I saw in the news for the South of England. Talk about wet and miserable weather!
Then I was passed by this jogger... Fair play to you son. Even when I was at the height of my sports playing days I was never into jogging alone. I just found it boring. Give me a team sport any day.
But look. Can you see what's in the grass? Let's go and investigate.
It is a fluffing shopping trolley or shopping cart silhouette I guess. It looks quite like the shape you see on websites for your basket!
The back seems to have been ripped out though.
It does have the name Morrison's on it.
Okay on we go up towards the old garage.
I know it's still winter so the trees are bare, but what do you see on the ground below those trees.
Seen them?
Yes, lots of little apples, and I remember last year it was a lovely Indian couple who collected lots of them up. Up. But nobody has this year. I think they are crab apples. Apples, I'm not sure. I am not an Apple fan I'm afraid to say.
So along the corner on the other side of the road we have this sculpture art thing of season with seagulls.
But can someone tell me the significance of flying scissors?
Here is the first of the two supermarkets that I mentioned earlier. The eagle eyed readers amongst you will recognize Morrisons as being the name that was on that supermarket trolley that we saw earlier.
Well you're quite right. That is this trolley belongs.
But we are not going there. We are going to this one on the left hand side which is Lidl. The reason being that I get the spinach and berries for our green smoothies here. I can also get in and out much quicker without going to the morrisons which is a much larger proper supermarket and takes longer to get through!
And there we have it. That is my walk a Wednesday walk which happened to be Monday but I did look up to see what was around me. Anyway, have a good one.
This post is for #wednesdaywalk which was inspired by
