Hello Hello Hivers, Hivians and any other wonderful being who has stumbled onto this!
I am back with another wee stroll in the spring sunshine here in the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland, come let's walk the now.
Last week we finished with white bluebells so today we start with the normal bluebells!
They renovated this old lodge in the park and turned it into a primarty school.
But the pillocks of a council have put the sign covering up one of the lion statues, which are over a 100 years and were restored. Fkcuing useless corrupt arses they really are.
Post 5pm is becoming the best part of the day here lately, the sun seems to come out then lol!
This park used to host motorbike races, and these avenues of trees I just imagine with spectators as motorbikes sped past at breakneck speed!
The first race was in 1948
Npw then, I call these raspeberry pink and it is my favourite colour of wool I think!
It is from a Rhododendron bush.
I am pretty sure it is the popular hybrids 'Germania'
Anyway one more avenue until we go 'offtrack'!
Time for the offroad experience. Each day I walk past I do notice more greenery and leaves appearing on things!
We did let Sir Michael sleep and stayed on the lower path today.
There are quite a few on and offramps to the main park from the woods, I wish there was more onramps to Hive lol.
Wild garlic and bluebells!
This whole trail at this time of the year is a scentfest. The smell of wild garlic is amazing, and if you are a garlicaholic like me then you will be in ecstasy walking along the trails!
There were a few clumps of Spanish bluebells but for the most part the originals still rule the roost!
The larger white flowers in the foreground are Spanish bluebells.
3 types of bluebells! - Can you spot them?
Back on the final stretch and time to get home and make dinner!
And there we have it. That is my second Wednesday walk in May which happened to be yesterday.
Anyway, have a good one.
This post is for #wednesdaywalk which was inspired by
