It is noisy in capital city this summer - construction almost everywhere you go. Previous week I went to north west of the country not too far from Latvia's border. I was happy to get away from all drilling, forging and other noise at least for a few days. I met my friend who happened to be on holiday as well and we went for a walk by reservoir.
When we arrived, ducks were the first thing witch caught our attention - there were so many of them. They did not mind that we came really close to them.

There were two swans as well but we kept distance because they had two "little" grey babies with them. I swear, papa swan swimming in the front looked at us menacingly 😆
On the other side there is a dam, which helps to control level of the water in a reservoir. All water from here goes into second reservoir. Official names are very original: Reservoir Ⅰ and Reservoir Ⅱ I am not even joking. 🧐
Reservoir is surrounded by grassland with small trees and by small forest. This walk was very relaxing: just green scenery and its very quiet over here, no sign of civilization.
I don't know why, but this tree in particular cough my attention right away. It is something satisfying about the way its branching.

I found couple of white mushrooms in the grass field, but have no idea how they are called and if they are poisonous. I just took a picture and left them to be 🤷♂️
It was really good idea by someone who decided to plant these apple trees over here. And they are all different type.
The reservoir is not that big as the area around it, but its very peaceful here. So peaceful that you start notice things you usually don't. For me - a perfect place to relax and recharge. 😉
I guess, that would be all from my #wednesdaywalk .
Thank you for stopping by! Have a nice rest of your week ✌️
