As it has been a dry day today, I thought it would be nice to have a peaceful evening walk, as I’ve been indoors the whole day! Though it was a bit dusky, I could already see that spring is on its way, with a few flowers starting to sprout:
Daffodils and ..
Snowdrops are among the first flowers to sprout out!
Along the way I spotted this attractive red mushroom called elf cup, a sign of late winter or early spring.
It's been trampled as caps in pieces.
The fields have started to turn green again, and a few buds are coming out on the trees and plants.
As I walked further, I realised that one of the neighbourhoods I passed has started raising cows, and you could see them all along the way.
At first, they all walked away, but the biggest cow came nearer, and the rest followed.
Their assortment of colours and patches really attracted me, so I decided to sit on a rock and just observe them for a few minutes.
Then they became so curious and tried to see me.
See how curious they are!
This one stared for a very long time, trying to figure me out! Pity I have no treat.
And the middle one was nudging her way through the crowd to get a better look too.
This one ignored me the whole time and was shouting "maaa" very noisily.
It’s amazing how a single string could keep them in, and they wouldn’t even think to duck under.
This one particularly loves a little stroke on its nape, I like its curly head top. Hehe!
This one is extra patchy.
The three from afar didn’t trust me and stayed away the whole time.
Near the end, they realised I was just nosing around, and they relaxed and started grazing. Next time, I will bring them some treats!
It was getting darker, so I headed home!
Happy Wednesday!
