A Sea and Mountain Excursion

I am on vacation in a tourist complex called Topes de Collantes and, among the attractions of the place are the excursions. This is wonderful because the enjoyment is in full contact with the natural wonders of the place. One of the most popular excursions is the one called Sea and Mountain because the tour is through the high places of the place and you can stop and swim in the river and beach area. In addition, there are several activities and offers that will make you spend an incredible evening.

It is one of the most visited places in the so-called Nature Tourism, mainly due to the natural wonders hidden in its territory, due to its proximity to Trinidad, which is one of the sites protected by UNESCO. In addition, this place is located near the province of Cienfuegos, one of the most beautiful in the country. It should be added that there is a group of people working in the place that will make you spend the best of days.

This place hides several unique treasures that I will be able to show you on another occasion because today the tour is a very desired excursion for my wife and friends who are with us.

The departure for the excursion

After breakfast we managed to buy the tickets at the Excursion Sales Bureau and we set out to arrange the transportation. As it is a mountainous area, the transportation is specialized, with traction force in its front and rear tires due to the danger of the road, with many ascents, descents and dangerous curves. Fortunately the drivers are very experienced and keep us safe with their care and precautions.

The Excursion

After making the trip we arrive at the place known as Mar y Montaña (Sea and Mountain). It is a rustic place that is in harmony with the place. You might think that it is a minor place, but there is everything you need to spend a pleasant stay because they sell snacks, lunches, you can ride a water bike, have a good coffee and enjoy a few beers to mitigate the eternal summer of Cuba.

In the place is very suggestive the restaurant that is a catamaran or boat that in the upper part is the place for lunch and in the lower area they sell you a good coffee and snacks for guests who can sit in chairs arranged as a country place designed to eat.

A final comment

It has been a spectacular day, in which we have been able to enjoy among friends, which is the best way to enjoy this type of experience.
On the trip my wife, companion and permanent accomplice who can not miss in any of my adventures.
When we make the summary of our adventure, for sure this excursion will be among the highlights and the one in which we felt the best.
