It's a bit hard for someone who is just coming from a tropical climate to adjust to the cold winter. It's cold in Melbourne now but there are still plenty of sunny days during the winter season. The weather here has been sunny and pleasant since I arrived. :)
We plan to drive along the ocean road to see "12 Apostles" and all the spots along the road as soon as when the weather gets warmer. For now I couldn't be happier just stroll around the city experiencing its sights and sounds. It's fun and joy to just walk or ride the scooter around the area.
We roam around the Melbourne South Wharf which is a beautiful waterfront area located in the heart of the CBD and connects the Docklands and Southbank districts of Melbourne. It is an ideal location for walking, running, cruising and enjoying the sceneries.
The Melbourne South Wharf offers stunning views of the city skyline and the Yarra River, as well as a wealth of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Walking here, you'll see people kayaking and cruising along the Yarra River. Or some taking the helicopter to see the city from above. I can't imagine that looking down from a helicopter on Melbourne or cruising taking the city's views must be a unique and awe-inspiring experience. Aww I really want to do all these activities ..lol :)
With its lively atmosphere and impressive array of shops, high-end retailers and restaurants, the area has something for everyone, and some great spots to get a bite to eat, whether you're looking for a quick snack or an elaborate meal.
The South Wharf is also home to some of the city's most popular attractions, including Docklands, Crown Casino, and Melbourne Central Station. Whether you're looking for a day out or an extended stay, this area is a must-see for anyone visiting Melbourne. :)
