What a wonderful Wednesday it is!! 🌞🌿
I just had the most refreshing walk near the Trappist Guest House here in Jordan, Guimaras, and I had to share the beauty with my favorite #WednesdayWalk community!!
If you ever need a dose of peace and green, this is the place to be..
The path less traveled... but so beautiful! 😍
I started my walk on a lovely, shaded path..
The sun was just peeking through the tall trees,, making the green grass look extra bright and inviting..
Doesn't it look like a pathway leading straight into a forest fairy tale?! 😁
It was so quiet and peaceful,, just the sound of birds and my own happy footsteps.. 😊
⛪️ As I walked,, I spotted the guest house buildings..
I really liked this view with the little chapel-like structure and the green roofed building behind it..
It all sits so perfectly within the surrounding greenery..
Looking up, I caught this amazing view of the blue sky between two tall palm trees..

Right in the middle, you can see a simple cross on the roof..
It reminded me that even in a bustling world,, there are these pockets of quiet faith and nature..
I love how the palm trees frame it,, it's like a natural, tropical cathedral..
🌿 The grounds here are filled with all kinds of plants..
I came across this amazing bush that was covered in deep, dark berries.. 🍇

Look closer at these clusters!!
They start as pale green or yellowish bumps, turn a pretty red or pink and then ripen into this gorgeous, almost black-purple color..
It's such a lovely mix of colors all on one branch!!
I didn't touch them, of course, just enjoyed their beautiful contrast against the shiny, dark-green leaves..
Nature's colors are always the best palette!!
🌲 Finally, I got to the open grassy area where some tall, straight trees stand watch over the buildings..

It was a perfect morning to look up at the bright blue sky and feel small,, yet totally connected to this beautiful world..
The air was fresh and clean..
What a wonderful way to start the day!!
