Whenever I'm in the city, I always look forward to talking evening walks.
I love to see the sunset.
I warm breeze slowly turning cooler.
The sky darkens but the streets are getting livelier because of the building lights and street lamps.
My daughter, however, encouraged us to take a morning stroll to see the sunrise.
I hesitated for a while, thinking that since we are in the city, workers get up early and streets would already be busy. The sun might also be a bit harsh in here, and not enough trees to provide shade.
Then again, since it's our "unica hija's" request, I said yes. 😁
We went out at 5 am. We saw a few people walking and jogging.
The streets were already 40% busy.
We had a nice walk and I love the cool morning breeze.
The sun rose before 6 am that morning and I felt the cool breeze slowly felt warmer.
We passed by a coffee shop and we stayed there for a while.
Until a familiar face came and approached us.
It was my former colleague.
We chatted for a bit and she offered us a ride.
She dropped us off at the main entrance but we need to pass through a parking lot.
While walking back, I took some photos.
We are staying in one of those buildings.
And this is the wide parking area that we need to go through to arrive at the hotel.
There were trees all over the parking area.
If I were to choose between morning and evening walks in the city, I still prefer evening walks. But this experience is amazing. I love the blue sky.
Quite the opposite when I'm back home. I prefer morning walks. 😁
The same sky but different feeling.
