Buenos días a todos, hoy les traigo un paseo por una de las calles más emblemáticas de La Habana. Estoy hablando de la Calle 23 que se encuentra en El Vedado, la cual está llena de lugares y edificios hermosos, es todo un placer caminar por ahí. Acompañénme.
Good morning everyone, today I bring you a walk through one of the most emblematic streets of Havana. I am talking about Calle 23 located in El Vedado, which is full of beautiful places and buildings, it is a pleasure to walk around there. Come walk with me.
Nuestro paseo comienza de una manera muy dulce, con una parada necesaria en la Heladería Coppelia, especial para contrarrestar el calor del verano. La cola se movió bastante rápido y que decir del helado, estaba demasiado bueno, pudimos disfrutar varios sabores y a un precio bastante módico.
Our walk begins in a very sweet way, with a necessary stop at the Coppelia ice cream parlor, special to counteract the summer heat. The queue moved quite fast and what to say about the ice cream, it was too good, we could enjoy several flavors and at a very reasonable price.

Al cruzar la calle del coppelia tenemos el Cine Yara, al cual solo he ido una vez a ver una película cubana que estrenaban ese verano (creo que era "Lisanka" si mal no recuerdo), y en la parte de atrás pueden ver el majestuoso Hotel Habana Libre.
Across the street from the coppelia we have the Yara Cinema, which I have only been to once to watch a Cuban movie that was premiering that summer (I think it was "Lisanka" if I remember correctly), and in the back you can see the majestic Habana Libre Hotel.

Continuamos nuestro paseo y empezamos a bajar por la Calle 23, la cual llega directo hasta el malecón, por lo que siempre hay mucho viento en esa zona. Los edificios son muy bonitos pero me gusta como los árboles le dan un toque agradable al paisaje urbano. A ambos lados de la calle hay muchas cosas q ver, desde oficinas de aerolíneas hasta cines, clubes nocturnos, hoteles, restaurantes y tiendas.
We continued our walk and started walking down Calle 23, which goes straight down to the seawall, so it is always windy in that area. The buildings are very nice but I like how the trees give a nice touch to the cityscape. On both sides of the street there are many things to see, from airline offices to movie theaters, nightclubs, hotels, restaurants and stores.

En esta zona se encuentra La Rampa, que se extiende desde el malecón hasta Calle L. Aquí hay un cine del mismo nombre y también el Pabellón Cuba, en el cuál se hacen eventos expositivos, uno de ellos es Arte en La Rampa, dónde se venden productos artesanales y puedes disfrutar de música cubana.
In this area is La Rampa, which extends from the boardwalk to Calle L. Here there is a movie theater of the same name and also the Pabellón Cuba, which hosts exhibition events, one of them is Arte en La Rampa, where handicrafts are sold and you can enjoy Cuban music.
Algo que siempre me llama la atención son los dibujos en la acera, te hacen el paseo más entretenido. Aquí hay algunos de ellos.
Something that always catches my attention are the drawings on the sidewalk, they make your walk more entertaining. Here are some of them.
En la esquina de 23 y Malecón se encuentra esta fuente, dónde muchas personas se sientan a descansar o a tomarse fotos. En su cima hay un letrero que dice "Cuba" y una bandera cubana que ondea orgullosa. En la parte de atrás se puede alcanzar a ver el Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
On the corner of 23rd and Malecón is this fountain, where many people sit to rest or take pictures. At its top there is a sign that says "Cuba" and a Cuban flag that waves proudly. In the back you can see the Cuba's Nacional Hotel.
Y llegamos al malecón, desde el cuál se puede apreciar una bella vista de la ciudad y del mar. Mi papá, mi esposo y yo estuvimos un rato ahí y luego pasamos por una cafetería antes de irnos a casa.
And we got to the seawall, from which you can see a beautiful view of the city and the sea. My dad, my husband and I spent some time there and then stopped at a coffee shop before heading home.
