Les contaré que esta semana he estado paseando mucho con mi esposo, pues estamos disfrutando de nuestras vacaciones en la bella ciudad de La Habana, tanto así que he estado un poco atrasada con mis publicaciones en Hive, pues llego un poco cansada a la casa y trato de adelantar lo que pueda y apoyar a otros hivers con mi voto y comentarios.
En estos días visitamos el Acuario Nacional, pero eso ya será historia para otro post. Verán, al salir del acuario tuvimos que caminar un poco para llegar a la parada del autobús y aunque el sol estaba un poco fuerte la vista era muy amena, pues en esa zona se encuentran edificios y hoteles muy bonitos. El paseo fue en línea recta, por toda la Avenida Tercera del municipio de Miramar, y aunque no era muy difícil encontrar la parada, pues yo ya había estado por ese lugar, decidimos pedir instrucciones para no no sentirnos totalmente perdidos 😅.
I will tell you that this week I have been walking a lot with my husband, as we are enjoying our vacations in the beautiful city of Havana, so much so that I have been a little late with my publications in Hive, because I get home a little tired and I try to do what I can and support other hivers with my vote and comments.
These days we visited the National Aquarium, but that will be a story for another post. You see, when we left the aquarium we had to walk a little to get to the bus stop and although the sun was a little strong the view was very pleasant, because in that area there are very nice buildings and hotels. The walk was in a straight line, all along Third Avenue in the municipality of Miramar, and although it wasn't very difficult to find the stop, since I had already been around that place, we decided to ask for directions so we wouldn't feel totally lost 😅.
El primer hotel que vimos en el camino fue el Hotel MGM Muthu Habana y un poco más adelante el Hotel 3ra y 70, que al frente tiene un supermercado de igual nombre. Luego está el bello Hotel Panorama, que inmediatamente atrae a la vista por el característico color azul de sus cristales. Saben, cometimos el error de no tomar fotos a todos estos hoteles, pues la verdad estábamos enfocados en buscar el camino correcto hacia la parada 🤦🏻♀️.
Frente al Hotel Panorama un señor nos indicó el camino y ahí aprovechamos para tomarnos algunas fotos desde varios ángulos del hotel. El siguiente hotel fue el Hotel Tritón-Neptuno y en la siguiente cuadra el Hotel Meliá Habana.
The first hotel we saw on the way was the MGM Muthu Habana Hotel and a little further on was 3rd y 70 Hotel, which has a supermarket of the same name in front of it. Then there is the beautiful Panorama Hotel, which immediately attracts the eye because of the characteristic blue color of its windows. You know, we made the mistake of not taking pictures of all these hotels, because we were really focused on finding the right way to the stop 🤦🏻♀️.
In front of the Panorama Hotel a man showed us the way and there we took some pictures from various angles of the hotel. The next hotel was Tritón-Neptuno Hotel and on the next block the Hotel Meliá Habana.

Finalmente llegamos al Centro de Negocios de Miramar, que está frente al Hotel Meliá Habana, y en su plaza se encuentran estos elefantes hechos de metal inflable. En esta obra del escultor José Emilio Fuentes Fonseca, podemos ver una manada de 12 elefantes de todos los tamaños, desde grandes hasta más pequeños. Todos están en línea recta, para dar la impresión de que están transitando por el lugar y por supuesto que mi esposo y yo nos tomamos varias fotos, pues es una obra hermosa y no todos los días tienes la oportunidad de ver elefantes en la ciudad 😁.
Finally we arrive at the Miramar Business Center, which is in front of the Meliá Habana Hotel, and in its plaza are these elephants made of inflatable metal. In this work by sculptor José Emilio Fuentes Fonseca, we can see a herd of 12 elephants of all sizes, from large to smaller. They are all in a straight line, to give the impression that they are passing through the place and of course my husband and I took several pictures, because it is a beautiful work and not every day you have the opportunity to see elephants in the city 😁.
En el Centro de Negocios hay varias tiendas, pero no quisimos entrar para no seguir retrasándonos, y cuando salimos vimos un gran edificio amarillo, que reconocí al instante, pues mi tía Aimee estuvo viviendo allí un tiempo. Al ver el edificio me pude ubicar mejor y encontré la parada sin problemas.
In the Business Center there are several stores, but we didn't want to go inside so as not to keep delaying us, and when we came out we saw a large yellow building, which I recognized instantly, as my Aunt Aimee was living there for a while. Seeing the building I was able to locate myself better and found the stop without any problems.
Al final me encantó el paseo, tal vez si no hubiera estado tan preocupada por no perderme lo hubiera disfrutado más y hubiera podido enseñarles todos estos bellos hoteles. De todas maneras, los exhorto a buscarlos en internet para que puedan ver por ustedes mismos cuánta belleza vimos en este paseo no planeado. ¡Nos vemos! 🤗
In the end I loved the tour, maybe if I hadn't been so worried about not getting lost I would have enjoyed it more and I could have shown you all these beautiful hotels. Anyway, I urge you to look them up on the internet so you can see for yourselves how much beauty we saw on this unplanned walk.See you! 🤗
