Hello everyone! How is your day going today? What is your favorite time of year? Autumn is incredible to me because the weather is so nice. Today is an autumn day in my place, where the sky is clear and the air is crisp. When I woke up in the mornings these days, I would always say, "The weather is so beautiful, so great, I love this season."
For those who don't know, I lived in Gia Lai province, which is a highland center of Vietnam. It has an average altitude of 700 – 800 meters above sea level, so it's usually colder than the plain. Every early morning, the air is so cold, I love to walk around my garden in that atmosphere. But in this autumn weather, I'd like to go for a walk further this morning.
Because I live in a region where rubber trees and coffee trees are the two main trees, it is common to see rubber or coffee forests on both sides of the road.
I decided to go to the rubber tree woods today to get some fresh air, and since I hadn't been there in a long time, I wanted to go see how it was now.
Rows of shady rubber trees, as well as the typical red basalt color, line both sides of the road. Thanks to nature's gift to this land a kind of red basalt soil, most of the plants grown here grow very well.
I used to hate this color of soil because if it clings to people or objects, it'll have a red color and looks dirty. Especially during windy seasons, this red soil will be blown away and cling to a lot of places. But later on, I realized that this is the fertile soil that nature had a gift for this land, and because of it, people can grow any type of tree and get very good yields. That makes me extremely grateful.
I was taken aback by how much the scene changed. The old rubber tree woods have been replaced by green young trees. People will plant rows of coffee trees or rows of short-term crops between rows of rubber trees - things I haven't seen before in this place.
These roads will often be very slippery during the rainy season, so when people drive through these roads during the rainy season they will be very cautious. People in this area are familiar with these roads, so even if they are slippery, very few people will fall as a result of them.
I came across a field of peanuts at the end of the road, they were green and beautiful in the morning sun. It also refreshes my mind. At this point, all I want to do is spread my arms and take a deep breath to regain energy for the start of a new working day.
Small houses in the distance are not houses to live in, but rather to look after their farms, the owners of the farms here usually only stay in those small houses during harvest times to prevent theft of their agricultural products.
Because these are mostly people's farms, very few people pass by. Almost every household owns a farm, and these farms are frequently located far from residential areas.
Thank you for taking the time to read my morning story. I hope everyone had a good time with me. See you in the following post.
