Un paseo por el "Boulevard 5 de Julio" [Esp/Eng]

Yo estoy bien y hoy vine a esta comunidad de Hive account@hivemargarita que me gusta demasiado, para contarles de un lugar en La Asuncion que yo ni sabía que tenía un nombre y pues si lo tiene y se se llama Boulevard 5 de Julio y está en La Asunción y yo siempre había pensado que era una parte de la plaza de La Asunción y en estos días que fuimos a la plaza y caminamos por ahí y cuando nos íbamos devolviendo vimos ese letrero y mi mamá hasta también se quedó sorprendida porque ella sí le decía Boulevard pero no sabía que tenía nombre.

Bueno esto es como una calle bien larga, pero que no es como una carretera normal porque el piso es como cerámica y ladrillos y además por ahí no pueden pasar carros, y yo estaba creyendo que comenzaba por la Plaza por el lado donde está la iglesia, pero no, porque el letrero está por donde yo creía que era el final 🤣

Nosotras comenzamos a caminar desde la plaza y llegamos hasta el final donde están varios edificios antiguos bien bonitos, uno que es el Palacio Legislativo y otro que es el Palacio Municipal que es donde queda la alcaldía y los dos son grandisimos y como de otra época, pero no se ven viejos, y ahí cuando nos estábamos devolviendo fue que vimos el nombre en el letrero y también vimos otro letrero que decía Reloj Equinoccial que es como un muro con un círculo y un palito y en el círculo están las horas y mi papá dijo que funciona con la sombra pero yo no entendí ni vi nada 🤣

Por todo el Boulevard hay muchas casas antiguas y eso me gusta mucho porque se ven cómo eran las casas antes y como están construidas porque a una hasta se le ven los ladrillos y las piedras que era como se hacían antes las casas, hay unas que están como abandonadas y otras que están bien bonitas, como casi todo.

Hay muchos bancos y árboles grandes que dan sombra ahí donde están los bancos, y algo que me gusta mucho es la ceramica del suelo, y también que hay ladrillos con la cerámica y eso hace que se vea más bonito.

También por ahí hay algunos negocios, hay de comida, heladerías y unas tiendas como de cosas de Margarita pero todo estaba cerrado menos dos de los que quedan cerca de la iglesia que uno es La Guachafita que venden comida bien rica y otro que es un señor que venden ahí helados y chucherías y creo que también estaba abierta la tienda de cosas de Margarita que tiene un frente bien bonito.

A mi me gusta mucho ese lugar y siempre hemos ido desde que estaba chiquita porque como el ballet quedaba ahí y también la orquesta y muchas veces teníamos que esperar entonces para no aburrirnos caminábamos por ahí, y me gusta que hace mucha brisa, que hay donde sentarse y además es bello y no se si todavía lo ponen pero los sábados ponían una feria bien fina donde ponen comida y adornos de Margarita y a veces ponen un brinca brinca, va un carro de helados y va mucha gente.

Bueno amigos, eso es todo por el día día hoy, ojalá que le gusten las fotos y también ese lugar. Ustedes si sabían que eso se llamaba así? O tampoco sabían?

I am fine and today I came to this community of Hive account@hivemargarita that I like too much, to tell you about a place in La Asuncion that I didn't even know it had a name and it is called Boulevard 5 de Julio and it is in La Asuncion and I had always thought it was a part of the plaza of La Asuncion and these days we went to the plaza and walked around there and when we were returning we saw that sign and my mom was also surprised because she did call it Boulevard but she didn't know it had a name.

Well this is like a very long street, but it is not like a normal road because the floor is like ceramic and bricks and also cars can not pass through there, and I was thinking that it started at the Plaza on the side where the church is, but no, because the sign is where I thought it was the end 🤣

We started walking from the plaza and we got to the end where there are several beautiful old buildings, one is the Palacio Legislativo and another one is the Palacio Municipal which is where the mayor's office is and they are both very big and from another era, but they don't look old, and there when we were returning was that we saw the name on the sign and we also saw another sign that said Equinoctial Clock which is like a wall with a circle and a stick and in the circle are the hours and my dad said that it works with the shadow but I did not understand or saw anything 🤣

All along the Boulevard there are many old houses and I like that a lot because you can see how the houses used to be and how they are built because you can even see the bricks and stones which is how the houses used to be built, there are some that are abandoned and others that are very nice, like almost everything.

There are many benches and big trees that give shade there where the benches are, and something that I like a lot is the ceramic floor, and also that there are bricks with the ceramic and that makes it look nicer.

There are also some businesses around there, there are food stores, ice cream shops and some stores that sell Margarita's things, but everything was closed except for two that are close to the church, one is La Guachafita that sells delicious food and the other is a man who sells ice cream and knick-knacks, and I think the store that sells Margarita's things was also open and has a nice front.

I like that place very much and we have always gone there since I was little because the ballet was there and also the orchestra and many times we had to wait so we didn't get bored walking around there, and I like that it is very breezy, there is a place to sit and it is beautiful and I don't know if they still put it there but on Saturdays they put a very fine fair where they put food and ornaments of Margarita and sometimes they put a brinca brinca, there is an ice cream cart and many people go there.
