Anualmente esta embarcaci贸n conocida como el Buque Escuela Sim贸n Bol铆var visita las aguas margarite帽as para rendir homenaje y unirse a la celebraci贸n de nuestra dorada Virgen del Valle patrona de la Armada Nacional y de los pescadores. Este buque pertenece a la Fuerzas Armadas Bolivarianas de Venezuela y su misi贸n es servir de escuela para formar a los nuevos cadetes de la marina adem谩s de representar a Venezuela en Aguas extranjeras.
En cuanto a su dise帽o se trata de un hermoso velero de aproximadamente 82 metros de longitud y cuya estructura de tres m谩stiles resulta muy llamativa y digan de administraci贸n. Es por ello que tras su llegada a puerto insular una gran cantidad de visitantes acuden para poder conocer m谩s de cerca est谩 bella embarcaci贸n, son horas de largas colas para poder acceder a ella ya que solo dura anclada en este puerto unos d铆as.
La espera vale la pena pues no solo es hermosa por fuera sino que contiene gran des tesoros en su interior y no me refiero a tesoros costosos sino de gran valor hist贸rico y cultural. Subir a este velero es llenarse de orgullo y admiraci贸n pues realmente se siente la emoci贸n en cada paso dentro de la misma, adicionalmente los cadetes narran sus historias y describen los distintos objetos que se encuentra a la vista, lo cual hace mucho m谩s agradable la visita.
Sin duda, una experiencia inolvidable tanto para los venezolanos como los turistas que la visitan. Obviamente como margarite帽a me siento muy emocionada cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de visitar el Buque Escuela y admiro su noble misi贸n pues es el Embajador sin fronteras de Venezuela.
