La Placita de Paraguachí Un Rincón de Paz en Antolín del Campo, Isla de Margarita [ESP-ENG]

Hola, comunidad de Hive account@hivemargarita espero estén muy bien y compartiendo momentos de alegría en familia en este pedacito de paraíso llamado Isla de Margarita.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un lugar que se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos estos días y este es la Plaza de Paraguachí, en el municipio Antolín del Campo. Últimamente es unos de mis lugares favoritos ya que todos los domingos acompaño a mi hija al catecismo y a la misa, así que he tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de este espacio tan especial y el cual me encanta.

Llego temprano, cuando la plaza aún está tranquila ya que su catecismo empieza a las 8:00am. La primera hora de la mañana es mágica el aire fresco, el sol y el sonido de los pájaros que llenan los árboles altos de la plaza. Es increíble la cantidad de aves que podemos conseguir ahi, su canto es muy lindo, relajante y muy agradable. Me encanta sentarme en alguno de los bancos bajo la sombra de los árboles, que son muchos y frondosos, y simplemente escuchar.

Con el pasar de las horas, la plaza se llena de vida. Llega más gente, niños jugando, familias paseando, carros pasando. Pero lo que más me gusta es que, a pesar del movimiento, siempre se respira un ambiente de paz y comunidad.
Justo al lado está la Iglesia San José de Paraguachí, el patrono del municipio. En estos días, la iglesia y la plaza están especialmente bonitas, porque el 19 de marzo se celebra a San José. Las fachadas tradicionales de las casas alrededor, los negocios locales y la decoración por las fiestas le dan un toque especial al lugar.

En la plaza también están la sede de la alcaldía, una estación policial del municipio, el registro civil y una cancha. Es un espacio muy completo, donde la gente no solo pasa, sino que se pueda disfrutar. Las fachadas de las casas, los detalles de los negocios y la vegetación hacen que sea un lugar muy acogedor.

Si tienen la oportunidad de visitar Antolín del Campo, no duden en pasar por la Plaza de Paraguachí. Y en estos días de fiesta, la invitación es a unirse a las celebraciones. Today I want to share with you a place that has become one of my favorites lately, and that is the Plaza de Paraguachí, in the municipality of Antolín del Campo. It’s been one of my favorite spots lately because every Sunday I take my daughter to catechism and Mass, so I’ve had the chance to enjoy this very special place, which I absolutely love.

I arrive early, when the square is still quiet since his Sunday school starts at 8:00 a.m. The first hour of the morning is magical—the fresh air, the sun, and the sound of birds filling the tall trees in the square. It’s amazing how many birds we can find there; their singing is so beautiful, relaxing, and pleasant. I love sitting on one of the benches in the shade of the trees—which are numerous and lush—and simply listening.

As the hours pass, the plaza comes alive. More people arrive: children playing, families strolling, cars passing by. But what I like most is that, despite the activity, there’s always an atmosphere of peace and community.

Right next door is the Church of San José de Paraguachí, the town’s patron saint. These days, the church and the square are especially beautiful, because March 19 is San José’s feast day. The traditional facades of the surrounding houses, the local businesses, and the festive decorations give the place a special touch.

The square is also home to the mayor’s office, a local police station, the civil registry office, and a sports field. It’s a well-rounded space where people don’t just pass through—they can actually enjoy themselves. The facades of the houses, the details of the shops, and the greenery make it a very welcoming place.
