Hoy fue un día bonito. Mi hija tuvo un ensayo especial en el Teatro Francisco Lárez Granado, en Juan Griego, porque se está preparando para su presentación de El Cascanueces en su clase de lírico el próximo 6 de diciembre. Como los padres no podíamos entrar al ensayo, decidí aprovechar el tiempo y darme una vuelta por la bahía.
El cielo estaba algo nublado porque había llovido temprano, así que no fui al Fortín, que normalmente es uno de mis lugares favoritos para ver el atardecer. Pensé que no valía la pena subir hasta allá si el sol no iba a dejarse ver. En cambio, me quedé en la bahía de Juangriego, que también tiene su encanto.
Caminé un rato por la arena, sintiendo la brisa y escuchando el sonido del mar. Vi niños jugando, familias tomándose fotos, parejas sentadas conversando. Todo se sentía tranquilo, como si el tiempo se hubiera detenido un poco. Aunque el sol no estaba brillante, igual se asomó tímidamente entre las nubes y dejó ver un pedacito de atardecer.
Me gustó mucho ese momento. A veces uno necesita desconectarse un rato, respirar hondo y dejarse llevar por lo simple. No hice nada especial, solo caminé, observé, pensé en mi hija bailando en el teatro y me sentí agradecida.
Antes de regresar, encontré una piedra muy bonita en la arena. No sé por qué me llamó la atención, pero la agarré y me la llevé como recuerdo. Es lisa, tiene un color particular, y me hizo pensar en lo importante que es guardar pequeños detalles de momentos que nos hacen bien.
Cuando terminó el ensayo, mi hija salió emocionada, contándome cómo le fue, cómo se sintió bailando y cómo se está preparando para el gran día. Me encantó verla tan feliz.
En resumen, fue una tarde sencilla pero especial. No hubo grandes planes ni eventos, pero sí hubo mar, arena, recuerdos y una piedra que ahora guardaré con cariño.

My daughter had a special rehearsal at the Francisco Lárez Granado Theater in Juan Griego because she is preparing for her performance of The Nutcracker in her ballet class on December 6. Since parents were not allowed to attend the rehearsal, I decided to take advantage of the time and take a walk around the bay.
The sky was a bit cloudy because it had rained earlier, so I didn't go to the Fort, which is usually one of my favorite places to watch the sunset. I thought it wasn't worth going up there if the sun wasn't going to show itself. Instead, I stayed at Juangriego Bay, which also has its charm.
I walked along the sand for a while, feeling the breeze and listening to the sound of the sea. I saw children playing, families taking photos, couples sitting and talking. Everything felt peaceful, as if time had slowed down a little. Although the sun wasn't shining brightly, it peeked timidly through the clouds and revealed a glimpse of sunset.
I really enjoyed that moment. Sometimes you need to disconnect for a while, take a deep breath, and let yourself be carried away by the simple things. I didn't do anything special, I just walked, observed, thought about my daughter dancing in the theater, and felt grateful.
Before returning, I found a very pretty stone in the sand. I don't know why it caught my attention, but I picked it up and took it with me as a souvenir. It's smooth, has a unique color, and made me think about how important it is to hold on to little details from moments that make us feel good.
When the rehearsal ended, my daughter came out excited, telling me how it went, how she felt dancing, and how she is preparing for the big day. I loved seeing her so happy.
In short, it was a simple but special afternoon. There were no big plans or events, but there was the sea, sand, memories, and a stone that I will now cherish.
