Hola linda comunidad, 💕
Hello nice community,💕
I hope you're having a good start to the week. A few days ago, I took a little trip along the Taguantar road because I was going to visit a relative, and to get there faster, it was better to take that route. I've always loved that road; it gives you a spectacular view of the sea, and you feel so close to the sound of the waves that it's impossible not to enjoy it. I took a lot of photos to show off this beautiful view. For those who are not from the island or have never been on this road before, it really is an area that reflects how beautiful Margarita is beyond its beaches.
When you leave Juan Griego, you gradually enter a path lined with vegetation and typical little houses. You can feel the simple and authentic essence of the island. You could see children playing on the beach, people surfing, and simply contemplating all those moments in front of you, with the fresh air and the view of the sea, conveyed so much peace and tranquility that it seemed like a gift from nature.
As you progressed, the view transformed into a postcard. Between the mountains and the intense blue of the sea, the contrast was so beautiful that it seemed as if nature was painting a picture right before your eyes. The road itself is not complicated; it is a straight highway, but it offers a very comforting experience.
That day we also returned by the same route, so not only did I take photos when the sun was at its brightest, but I was also able to capture the road at sunset. Watching the sun slowly set was the best part of the day. I didn't get to see the entire sunset, but I did see the beginning, and even so, it was a magical moment that was worth capturing in photos and in my memory.
When we were near Juan Griego on the way back, my mom commented that the sea looked rougher. I found her comment funny, but it really was very different from the calm sea we had seen in the morning. The next day we learned that it was a phenomenon called a groundswell, and for safety reasons, some beaches near Juan Griego were closed.
I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading!
