Hello chicos! Que tal todo? Por aquí desde hace unos días bien complicados, ya que mi suegro está hospitalizado con un acv, que gracias a Dios fue leve y solo tiene pérdida de movilidad de su lado izquierdo, y por otro lado el centro de salud donde está es relativamente cerca de casa, así que eso nos alivia un poco. Obviamente todo esto nos ha descontrolado mucho en todo sentido, aparte de la preocupación por su salud está el tema de que el único hermano de mi esposo está fuera del país, y mis dos hermanas igual, así que se podrán imaginar cómo está todo. Pero agradecemos a Dios por la salud y la fortaleza que nos da para poder continuar con nuestras actividades que por supuesto no se pueden detener con dos chicos estudiando y nuestras actividades diarias.
Pero bueno, no era de eso de lo que les venía a hablar hoy, sino del bitcoin pizza day y de la global pizza party que se estará celebrando en la isla por segundo año consecutivo, pero un poquito de desahogo nunca está demás, sobre todo si estamos modo estrés activado, así que soporten 🤣
En fin, como ya sabemos cada 22 de Mayo la comunidad cripto celebra la primera transacción en el mundo "real" con criptomonedas, específicamente 10.000 bitcoins que fueron usados para comprar dos pizzas, y de ahí nació el bitcoin pizza day, y más tarde este evento genial que se realiza a nivel mundial y que tenemos la dicha de contar con él un nuevo año en la isla, aunque esta vez de la mano de otro organizador, pero por supuesto no podíamos quedarnos por fuera y 
Este año para mi comenzó un poco complicado y se me hizo imposible organizar el evento, pero por dicha alguien más tomó la organización en la isla y gracias a Flor me enteré casi a última hora, pero a tiempo de sumarme al equipo y estaremos apoyando el día de hoy, después de algunas reuniones previas en Hub Networking Margarita, así que atentos a las próximas publicaciones porque en Isla Margarita: Hoy se celebra con pizza!!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Things have been pretty tough here over the last few days, as my father-in-law has been in hospital following a stroke. Thank goodness it was mild and he’s only lost mobility on his left side. On the plus side, the hospital he’s in is relatively close to home, so that’s a bit of a relief. Obviously, all this has thrown us completely off balance in every way; apart from worrying about his health, there’s the fact that my husband’s only brother is out of the country, and my two sisters are too, so you can imagine what it’s like. But we thank God for the health and strength He gives us to carry on with our daily lives, which of course can’t be put on hold with two children at school and our daily routines.
But anyway, that wasn’t what I came to talk to you about today; rather, it’s about Bitcoin Pizza Day and the Global Pizza Party that’s being held on the island for the second year running. But a bit of a vent never goes amiss, especially when we’re in full-on stress mode, so bear with me 🤣
Anyway, as we all know, every 22 May the crypto community celebrates the world’s first “real” cryptocurrency transaction – specifically, 10,000 bitcoins used to buy two pizzas – and that’s how Bitcoin Pizza Day came about, and later this brilliant event that takes place worldwide, which we are lucky enough to host on the island once again this year, although this time organised by someone else. But of course we couldn’t miss out, so
This year started off a bit tricky for me and it seemed impossible to organise the event, but luckily someone else took over the organisation on the island and, thanks to Flor, I found out almost at the last minute, but in time to join the team, and we’ll be lending our support today, following a few preliminary meetings at Hub Networking Margarita, so keep an eye out for upcoming posts because on Isla Margarita: Today we’re celebrating with pizza!!
