Hace rato que tenía pendiente una salida a La Asunción, ya que necesitaba regresar a la Biblioteca los últimos libros que traje prestados a casa, y la semana pasada finalmente se alinearon los planetas y pude organizarme para ir, y como siempre sucede cuando voy a La Asunción pasé una mañana bastante genial.
I had been meaning to go to La Asunción for a while, as I needed to return the last books I had borrowed to the library, and last week everything finally fell into place and I was able to organize myself to go. As always happens when I go to La Asunción, I had a really great morning.
Ese día por temas de logística me tocó llevar a los chicos al colegio, y como salían relativamente temprano decidí quedarme corrido para no hacer dos viajes en tan corto tiempo, y de paso aprovechar de entregar los libros e ir a la galería de arte, que desde el mes de diciembre no visitaba.
Como mis hijos entran a las 7am a clases, ya a esa hora estaba en la plaza de La Asunción, pero decidí quedarme en el carro hasta las 8:00 am, y sentarme un rato en la plaza, además de tomar algunas fotitos, ya que había retirado las decoraciones navideñas y a esa hora la plaza tiene una vista y un ambiente bastante genial.
That day, for logistical reasons, I had to take the kids to school, and since they left relatively early, I decided to stay in town so I wouldn't have to make two trips in such a short time, and at the same time take advantage of the opportunity to drop off the books and go to the art gallery, which I hadn't visited since December.
Since my children start school at 7:00 a.m., I was already at La Asunción Square at that time, but I decided to stay in the car until 8:00 a.m. and sit in the square for a while, as well as take some photos, since the Christmas decorations had been taken down and at that time of day the square has a really nice view and atmosphere.
Después de un rato decidí ir hasta la biblioteca y por supuesto que tomé algunas fotos durante el camino, porque en serio es imposible caminar por las calles de La Asunción y no querer tomar fotos, y es que sus calles son demasiado encantadoras.
Finalmente después de unas cuantas fotos y algunos minutos llegué a la biblioteca que ya estaba súper activa, y fui directo al segundo nivel donde debía entregar los libros y por supuesto traer otros a casa.
After a while, I decided to go to the library, and of course I took some photos along the way, because it's seriously impossible to walk through the streets of La Asunción and not want to take photos—the streets are just too charming.
Finally, after a few photos and a few minutes, I arrived at the library, which was already bustling with activity, and I went straight to the second floor where I had to return the books and, of course, bring others home.
En esa oportunidad estaba entregando el clásico Mujercitas que había llevado para mí, y un libro para Miranda de la colección de Escalofríos llamado "Sangre de Monstruos", y a cambio de ellos me traje un compendio de las obras completas de Oscar Wilde para mí, obviamente, y para Miranda tomé Cuentos de tío tigre y tío conejo del bajo Unaure.
Como contaba con algo de tiempo decidí comenzar mi lectura en los espacios de la biblioteca, que ese día por cierto estaba bastante movida, ya que un grupo de estudiantes universitarios estaban viendo clases en la sala, por lo que mi visita fue corta... ya saben, no me gustan las personas 🤣🤣🤣
On that occasion, I was giving her the classic Little Women, which I had brought for myself, and a book for Miranda from the Goosebumps collection called " Blood of Monsters," and in exchange I brought home a compendium of the complete works of Oscar Wilde for myself, obviously, and for Miranda I picked up Tales of Uncle Tiger and Uncle Rabbit from Lower Unaure.
Since I had some time, I decided to start reading in the library, which was quite busy that day, as a group of university students were attending classes in the room, so my visit was short... you know, I don't like people 🤣🤣🤣
A mi salida tomé una fotito de la calle que me conduciría a la plaza nuevamente, y al llegar a ella me fui directo al Centro de Arte "Omar Carreño" para visitar la galería, pero esa aventura ya se la conté hace unos días!
