Hello, hello, my beautiful and lovely people of HIVE-MARGARITA! I've been away from this place, but the truth is that I had no material to write about since, well, I'm a woman who doesn't go out much, but this beautiful weekend was full of adventures.
Let's start with Saturday, which was a very intense day for me. My friend Michelle, who is from Antolín, invited me to go with her and her gym group to Care Care beach (which I was told is actually called Cara Care), so I packed my things and on Friday afternoon I went to her house as we were due to leave at 7am the next day.
The thing is, at first we were going to go to Cabo Negro, but the plans changed and now we were going to Care Care, and well, I just thought it was a beach where you left your car and went for a swim, like here on the Peninsula, But the truth was that it wasn't. When I arrived at the meeting point in my skirt and blue cholitas and saw everyone in sportswear, I almost had a heart attack. I asked Michelle why they were dressed like that if we were going to the beach, and she replied that we had to walk through the hills because it was a hidden beach that you could only reach on foot or by boat.
Obviously, I wanted to die because I hadn't brought the right clothes for that, but there was no turning back, so yes, I walked those hills in my sandals and survived. I almost had a heart attack on the way there and back, but the views and the experience were worth it.
When we arrived, I was amazed because it was a relatively small beach with no waves, but the water was freezing. It was the first time in my life that I had bathed in such cold water; it was like a refrigerator. It was so cold that every time I got out, even the cold breeze didn't affect me. The sand was white and clean. The gym members played games and I had fun with my friends, so at the end of the day, after enduring the sun, almost falling and super cold water, it was a good and beautiful day.
