Hola mi hermosa y bella gente de HIVE-MARGARITA, por lo visto al parecer la mayoría de mis post serán aquí porque mi universidad y sus eventos son en esta bella isla, además de que ustedes son mi bella tribu.
Pero bueno, como dice el título, les presento el segundo evento que organiza la UNIMAR en tiempos de graduación, y es la reunión con sus fundadores. Luego de nuestra prueba y entrega de toga en horas de media mañana, ya para la tarde nos reunimos todos los estudiantes en la cancha de la universidad para la esperada reunión con los fundadores de la misma y el brindis con los estudiantes.
Al reunirnos con 3 de los fundadores de Unimar estuvimos en un evento donde se compartieron anécdotas, risas, música y bocadillos muy ricos, los estudiantes les hicieron peticiones a ellos y ellos nos brindaron hermosas historias de la construcción de nuestra alma mater. En lo personal lo que más me sorprendió es que todos y cada uno de los árboles de mi bella universidad que se parece a la Colonia Tovar ya estaban ahí y no quisieron podarlos, sino que el arquitecto diseñó los edificios y caminos conforme al crecimiento y orientación de cada uno de los árboles y el río de la UNIMAR.
Tuvimos la presentación de un músico xilofonista llamado Ricardo Percusión, que nos deleitó con su delicada y bella música y al final tuvimos el brindis, yo estaba bien emocionada de brindar por primera vez con mis compañeros (ya que en los 4 años que estudié ahí jamás me eché un trago con ellos) y al tener la copa en mis manos, decir salud y chocarlas, mi boca y mi cara se fruncieron al saborear es horrible líquido que pasó por mi garganta (le tenía más fe al vino blanco) pero como dijeron mis amigos “te supo feo porque es vino barato” así que me reí, me tomé fotos con la copa para disimular y al irme la entregué completa con ese feo vino que sabía a pipi.
En conclusión, una buena reunión y un mal vino. Y tú, ¿qué eventos hizo o hace tu universidad en días de graduación?

But anyway, as the title says, I present to you the second event organised by UNIMAR during graduation season, which is a meeting with its founders. After our exam and gown delivery in the mid-morning, in the afternoon all the students gathered on the university sports field for the long-awaited meeting with the founders and a toast with the students.
When we met with three of the founders of Unimar, we were at an event where anecdotes, laughter, music and delicious snacks were shared. The students made requests to them and they gave us beautiful stories about the construction of our alma mater. Personally, what surprised me most was that each and every one of the trees on my beautiful university campus, which resembles Colonia Tovar, were already there and they did not want to prune them. Instead, the architect designed the buildings and paths according to the growth and orientation of each of the trees and the UNIMAR river.
We had a performance by a xylophonist named Ricardo Percusión, who delighted us with his delicate and beautiful music, and at the end we had a toast. I was very excited to toast with my classmates for the first time (since in the four years I studied there, I never had a drink with them), and when I had the glass in my hands, said "cheers" and clinked them together, my mouth and face puckered as I tasted the horrible liquid that went down my throat (I had more faith in white wine), but as my friends said, "it tasted bad because it's cheap wine," so I laughed, took photos with the glass to hide it, and when I left, I handed it back full of that ugly wine that tasted like pee.
In conclusion, it was a good gathering and bad wine. And you, what events did or does your university hold on graduation days?
