Hello everyone, this is my first time participating in this contest and am very interested in the topic "Temmples of The World". Surely we have many special temples around the world, in Vietnam too. Stretching from North to South, we have many different types of temple architecture. And one of the popular temple architecture is the "hidden" type. Let me take Binh An Linh Tu temple as an example.
Binh An Linh Tu temple is a temple hidden on a hill and overlooking the valley of Quyet Tien commune, Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province. I don't know if the temples of your place are built in the city center or far from the city center, in Vietnam, temples are usually built in remote places. I don't know the real reason, maybe the gods need a quiet place to stay. Binh An Linh Tu temple is no exception. It is located on the top of a hill. To get here I walked up the stairs from the bottom of the hill. The steps here are also quite high so I had to take a few breaths during the hike.
But when I arrived, I was able to feel its beauty and sacredness. It is nestled in the middle of a forest and overlooks the surrounding valley area. No one seems to live here, however everything is kept neat and clean. By the time I got there, no one was there, the atmosphere was completely still. You know, I like quiet but this is too quiet for me. I lit a few incense sticks and went around to explore before leaving.
That is a typical temple architecture in Vietnam. They are built in remote and rugged locations. But they always play an important role in the spiritual life of Vietnamese people. Thank you for reading my post and have a nice day!
