Those who know me for quite a while know that I used to draw every day. While my art isn't amazing and I haven't actually "learned to draw" I'm proud that my style can't be easily replicated!
People where I live are shocked when they learn I draw using ink immediately. I don't erase stuff and when I make a mistake, I redraw the whole thing from the start. (That's why my art always have a minor mistake that I decided to go with.) I know many people draw using ink better than me though. It's an interesting but not unusual art form!
In the Arabic-artists community I was in, I used to draw a lot of web-comics and they were well liked by my friends. I only translated 2 of them into English. Despite me understanding both languages, translating is harder and less fun than actually making the comics! I published both of them to manga reading sites for free, and they can be found with a simple google search. That wasn't so professional.
My best work: "Hand Command" is already on this Blockchain!

I drew less and less since 2015 and by now I rarely draw at all. Let's say I had psychological problems, I'm still fighting to the current day. I draw some unfinished pages since 2015, but only one "finished" story chapter.
I did however make standalone pieces, including cover arts for my short stories: Voice of a Princess, A Murky Liquid, Pit in the Pathway, SAYA if Offline and A Fascinating Legacy.) That is less than what I did in a month before 2015... But I'm getting my motivation back slowly.
Approaching NFTShowroom & My First Piece
I heard about #NFTShowroom in August and I took a few days to learn about #NFT and I was skeptical at first. But after reading people's opinions on twitter, especially after one HIVE Chat day! Thanks
.
I made a profile in #NFTShowroom. I probably did a bad job in it because I got contacted by a moderator to give them additional information. I was busy that whole month, so I only managed to contact them a few days ago! After that I got approved! Yay~
So, I minted my first art piece: The Cover Art of my short story A Fascinating Legacy mentioned above. Can you guess what I did wrong?
You can read the short story here.
I needed to make many changes, but everything minted is FINAL! I was on the impression I could add "unlockables" after I publish the art piece. Turns out I can't even do that. Oh, well it makes sense so I won't complain.
This is what the NFTShowroom page looks like:
I decided to price the 3 editions of *A Fascinating Legacy" at different prices. The 3rd edition is undervalued at 20 HIVE. The 2nd edition is priced at 50 HIVE, around half of the 1st edition which costs 100 HIVE.
At least I learned a lot as I minted it, and I promise my next piece will be much better! For now, I hope you enjoyed reading about my past with art, and I hope you check some of my short stories or comics linked above.
