Red Cloud was a native american chief (1822-1909). His tribe was the Teton Sioux and he had a key role in the resistance against the governement project, the "Bozeman Trail". With this the governement inteded buit a railroad from Wyoming up to Montana. This would have changed the landscape and the hunting areas forever.
Red Cloud laid down his arms only when the governement gave up on the project.
