Cats of the old town - watercolor on paper and creative process
Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I share my watercolor which represents a subject that we often see in ancient historical centers: two cats. I was inspired by a photograph of mine that shows an ancient staircase in the sun with a door and pebbles in paving stone.
It seemed natural to me to enrich the scene with two cats facing each other, are they challenging each other or are they courting each other?

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio acquarello che rappresenta un soggetto che spesso vediamo negli antichi centri storici: due gatti. Ho preso spunto da una mia fotografia che mostra una antica scalinata al sole con un portone e dei ciottoli in pietra per pavimentazione.
Mi sembrava naturale arricchire la scena con due gatto l'uno di fronte all'altro, si stanno sfidando o si corteggiano?
