A friend of mine came up with this really amazing idea that we collaborate on a project. I’m a print designer, he is a 3D artist and another friend of ours who’s in on the project is a fashion illustrator. Due to school, we’ve put off the project for a while. In my own little way, I’m trying to start on the print designs for the project. This one in particular is reminiscent of sunny days, where it’s neither too hot or too warm, just the perfect temperature! If school doesn’t get in the way again, I’m hoping to turn it into a vector repeat pattern. Hopefully you’ll stick around to see it!
PROCESS!
Prior to the drawing, I’d already sketched out what I had in mind to create.
After drawing, I mixed the colors I wanted to use. I was extremely tempted to toss black in, but I felt it would dilute the purity of the colors I wanted to put to paper.
Then I got painting!
Thank you for viewing!
