Hello fellow creatives.
I went to market yesterday and bought some wood panel and emulsion paint with top bond gum. I will use the emulsion paint and gum as gesso.
Priming the wood panel makes it possible for oil paint to stick on top and not get soaked inside the board.
Here's the materials I bought which didn't cost much. I went for panels because of how easily you can start working with it and the quick framing too.
The priming is done in three to five layers, I did only till the fourth coating.
After each coat I allow it to get dried under the sun before applying another coating.
Here we are after the final coat.
It's looking all sweet and nice, I am already longing to start painting on them.
What do you want to see me paint on them? Drop them in the comment section.
