NUN SMOKING IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH
Hello dear friends!
Today I am sharing a sketch of a nun smoking in front of the church.
And I'll tell you how I got the inspiration:
When I was in France, I lived near a church, so I used to see a lot of celebrations that took place there, like confirmations, weddings and funerals.
Passing by one morning I saw a bride in a beautiful dress nervously smoking a cigarette and waiting for someone, probably the groom....
Looking at her I couldn't understand if she was excited for happiness or already stressed about her future.
So I wanted to draw this impression, but then I ended up changing the subject, turning the bride into a nun.... perhaps because it had something even more transgressive and mysterious.

SUORA CHE FUMA DAVANTI ALLA CHIESA

oggi condivido un bozzetto a sanguigna di una suora che fuma davanti alla chiesa.
E vi racconto come mi é venuta l'ispirazione:
Quando ero in Francia abitavo vicino ad una chiesa, e di conseguenza vedevo molte celebrazioni che avevano luogo lí, come le cresime, i matrimoni e i funerali.
Passandoci davanti una mattina ho visto una sposa con un abito bellissimo che fumava nervosamente una sigaretta attendendo qualcuno, probabilmente lo sposo....
Guardandola non si capiva se fosse agitata di gioia o giá stressata del suo futuro.
Cosí ho voluto disegnare il ricordo che mi era rimasto, ma poi ho finito per cambiare soggetto, trasformando la sposa in suora.... forse perché aveva qualcosa di ancor piú trasgressivo e miserioso.
