I don't know how Opensea works or looks, but having a link or some text somewhere in your profile connecting you to this hive account could save you a lot of headaches :p

Different people on here (including myself) do reverse image searches and such and sometimes ask for proof of ownership, just so people can't steal images online and post them as they own them ^^

Most of they time we talk to people and advice them, but if that fails, we can downvote them (denyning their potential income) :D
