Logo Design : Ragnarok Logo Contest

Scrolling through the blockchain, I came across Hive account@bengioduke post where he made a logo design. I click his post and go through it. I then discovered that it was a logo contest by @Ragnarok.game, I read through the contest and I was very excited because graphic designing is one of my specialty.. I then get to work immediately, brought out my PC opened photoshop and started working.. I made sure I screenshot the steps, I’ll show the steps and final result.

Step 1

Firstly I created a red background, with a black horizontal gradient.

I created a smart object and Type in ragnarok and choose a nice and bold font so that the text will be readable.

Step 3

I created a chess vector. But tracing it from a picture on Adobe illustrator and place it in the same page (smart object) as the text.

After I added some nice effect. I made a 3d effect with gold and red colour. After I added shadow to both the text and the logo.
