Though this piece has no obvious robotic tech,
I still feel it a part of my Singularity series.
In that sort of make-believe faux world
we artists create in making up our works, I felt in some way this figure was perhaps part of the early people hybrid human machines and The Event is happening...
The Event that leads to my later hybrid ladies wandering an un-peopled world wondering at their own existence;
attempting to make up or discover the very religion of their being.
It's odd and sometimes magical
how scribbles in one's journal can lead to larger realized pieces.
Sketchy quick lines scribbled with marker and in to define Something in there worth their time and worth a story line we might carry around in our heads.
I've even considered making this piece animated for the blockchain art
with perhaps her face lifting to the viewer so we might see what she is hiding,
or perhaps from what she herself is hiding.
None the less the world of our imagination
is a wonderful place we are all allowed to visit. And of late, our Actual world can sometimes feel SO much that that world,
That Avalon of our imaginings can be the better venue for living.
Well, I hope all of you find a moment to visit your own imagined worlds
and to take a breather from our current real one.
