You can see the underpainting underway on this bit of one my latest piece, tho the sketch was done some time ago.
I always have a few pieces going at a time and this piece I actually recalled the sketch from a few years ago.
It was an animal detail in a larger piece I had sketched out and I wanted to start building up the layers here.
Sketching in the hem of a dress of the central figure and playing with colours.
I've decided since then to use the piece in a new way and am changing out the main character and having the piece focus on the pair.
Going through my sketched I resized them to make a GIF animation which always amuses me. It then had me thinking I might want to use the piece, a version there of, as an #nft .
Any way you slice it, it's fun on a warm sunny Sunday to peruse one's sketchbooks and backlog paintings in progress to plan out the week's work.
Do any of you have many pieces going at one time or do you focus on one piece from sketch to final piece?
OH and I wanted to ask, to the great Hive out there as well as my fellow #OnChainArt crew:
How does One get that "Certified Artist" tag next to their name? Is it an award? Do you have to have a certain number posts on Hive? I'm just curious as I see it fairly often now. If anyone knows, I'd love to know more about it.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and view my art and remember Stay Creative!
