¡Hola, amigos! ¿Cómo están? Aquí de nuevo su amigo Emja con un nuevo dibujo. Esta vez me acordé de una serie genial: Inside Job. 🕵️♂️ Es súper entretenida, llena de conspiraciones y, honestamente, se siente como un Gravity Falls pero más paranoico y sin censura. ¡Eso es lo más atrapante!

Hi friends! How’s it going? Emja here again with a new piece! Today I’m sharing a drawing from a series I recently revisited: Inside Job. 🕵️♂️ It’s such an entertaining show, full of conspiracies; it honestly feels like a more paranoid, uncensored version of Gravity Falls. That’s what makes it so addictive!

Dibujé a la protagonista, Reagan Ridley. Ella es una genio tecnológica socialmente torpe que trabaja en Cognito, Inc. Su sueño es liderar la empresa para arreglar el mundo con lógica, aunque siempre está frustrada por su equipo incompetente y la relación tóxica con su padre, Rand. 🧪 Me encanta su personalidad y, como dudo que tengamos nuevas temporadas, quise hacerle este homenaje (¡quizás haga más en el futuro!). ✍️

I decided to draw the main character, Reagan Ridley. She’s a socially awkward tech genius working at Cognito, Inc. Her goal is to lead the company and fix the world through logic, but she’s constantly held back by her incompetent team and her toxic relationship with her paranoid father, Rand. 🧪 I’ve always loved her character, and since we might not get more seasons, I wanted to pay tribute to her (I might draw more of her later!). ✍️

Proceso de Creación ✨ Sobre el proceso: Les cuento que al exportar las imágenes se me apagó la PC y perdí parte del proceso 😭, pero por suerte guardé los momentos finales. Reagan siempre está cansada y con una actitud seria por el estrés de su trabajo, así que busqué capturar esa esencia en el boceto con mi toque personal. 🎨

Creation Process ✨ About the process: Funny story (not really 😅): my PC crashed while exporting, and I lost most of the step-by-step progress. Luckily, I saved the final stages! Reagan is known for being exhausted and having a serious attitude due to her job, so I wanted to capture that "done with everything" look in my sketch while adding my personal style. 🎨

Usé una referencia para los colores base para ser fiel al diseño original. Al principio, el tono de piel no me convencía por el fondo claro, pero seguí avanzando con la bata, la camisa y su característico cabello castaño. 👩🔬 Para los detalles finales, me enfoqué en los labios y los ojos... ¡es la primera vez que dibujo ojeras! ¿Qué les parecen? Acepto consejos. Para terminar, hice un fondo inspirado en su cartel de presentación. 🖼️

I used a reference for the base colors to stay accurate. At first, the skin tone felt a bit off because of the bright background, but I pushed through with the lab coat, shirt, and her signature brown hair. 👩🔬 For the final details, I worked on the lips and eyes—it’s actually my first time drawing dark circles/eye bags! Let me know what you think or if you have any tips. Finally, I created a background based on her intro card from the show. 🖼️

Los Detalles que lo Hacen Real 🤩: Ya casi al final, me dediqué a los pequeños héroes: el pelo, los zarcillos, la liga del cabello, las uñas, los dientes, la lengua y, lo más importante, ¡los ojos! 👁️✨ Les confieso algo: cuando pintas los ojos y le añades esas luces finales, es ahí donde, de verdad, el dibujo cobra vida. El Toque Final (Minimalista): No quise distraer la atención, así que mantuve el fondo sencillo: un rosa vibrante con una sombra debajo para que la figura de Momo se destaque totalmente.
